Testing: Am I Live?
Posted by: lalber on November 8, 2007
I won a writing grant from the Elizabeth George Foundation that allowed me to quit working for 18 months. I had a short story published in Ms. George's crime-fiction anthology, Two of the Deadliest (HarperCollins, July, 2009). In 2006, my second published short story was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. I won a Walden Fellowship for writing in 2001.
Now, alas, I take on contract technical writing and other freelance jobs, though as few as I can get away with so that I can devote time to my fiction, which sometimes goes well, sometimes doesn't. I get quite moody about it all...
